Electric Gates for Crowborough Homes
Crowborough sits high on the Weald, and many homes here have long, sloping driveways and private roads. A slope changes which gate works best: a swing gate opening uphill needs extra clearance or rising hinges, so on steep drives we often recommend a sliding gate or a gate that opens outwards with the right permissions.
The higher ground also means more wind and rain. We size motors for the gate's weight and wind load, add drainage to underground motors and ground loops, and fit safety edges and photocells to BS EN 12453 so the gate stops if anything is in its path.
Already have a gate that's slow, noisy or stopped working? We service and repair most major brands, including BFT and CAME, and can usually tell you on the first visit whether a repair or a new motor is the better value.
